Random Thoughts.

- I like Chris Webber going to the Detroit Pistons (though I thought the Lakers would have been a better fit). He won't have to be the main guy there and can fit well in their rotation and is still the best passing big man of his generation. And he'll even be paid less by the Pistons than he got paid from boosters when he played for the University of Michigan.

- One more reason the Juno's are 100 times better than the Grammy's - uberMILF Nelly Furtado is hosting this year.

- I didn't watch the Golden Globes much at all but I thought it was funny that Eddie Murphy beat Jack Nicholson and Brad Pitt for supporting actor. I would love to know what Jack thinks about that.

- Steve Nash is in fact having his best year. But I don't think he's the MVP again. His numbers are a bit inflated because opponents are stubbornly trying to run against the Suns and they are putting up high scores every other night. My MVP is Kobe Bryant. Nobody thought the Lakers would be this good and Kobe is the reason why. His all around game is better than ever and he is still the best player in the league because of his defense.

- There are three new Sims video games out right now. This game is about living a normal life, going to work, shopping, bowling and boring shit like that. It's really just the video game version of life in Kanata.

- The Anaheim Ducks have not played well lately but they're still the best team in the west. It's not easy to play without the best defenceman in the league in Chris Pronger.
