NFL Playoff Predictions.

I did pretty well last year with the only games I got wrong being the Steeler games. Which of course means I got four games wrong and they won the Super Bowl. Before ther playoffs start I will say right now I thiknk the Ravens will beat the Saints in the Super Bowl.

AFC
Kansas City Chiefs at Indianapolis Colts. Saturday 4:30pm

The Chiefs are the trendy pick because they have workhorse running back Larry Johnson and the Colts defense is a lock to give up 150 yards rushing in this game. The problem I have is that the Chiefs are an awful road team and their defense, though better than previous years, is still bad. I don't think they will be able to outsocre the Colts who will come out on fire.

Prediction: Colts 31, Chiefs 24.

New York Jets at New England Patriots. Sunday 1:00pm

I don't think the Jets are as good as people think they are but they did split the two games with the Pats this year including a win in New England. But it's hard to bet against Tom Brady at home in the playoffs, even with a brutal set of receivers. This one will be tight but I think the Pats running game will be enough to get them by.

Prediction: Pats 17, Jets 14.

NFC
Dallas Cowboys at Seattle Seahawks. Saturday 8:00pm

Both these teams stink. 'Boys coach Bill Parcells and 'Hawks coach Mike Holmgren both look ready to pack it in and Parcells will after he loses this game. Dalas QB Tony Romo has come back to earth, Terrell Owens will drop three big passes and Seattle RB Shwan Alexander will have a big day. But then the Seahawks will get throttled by the Saints next week.

Prediction: Seahawks 21, Cowboys 10.

New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles. Sunday 4:30pm

This is the easiest game of the weekend to call. The Giants backed into the playoofs going 2-6 in their last eight games. Their defense isn't healthy and Eli Manning is not very good. He will throw at least to picks in this game and that will kill the Giants. Meanwhile the Eagles are the hottest team in the NFC and Jeff Garcia is playing like the three time Pro Bowler that he is. This one won't be close.

Prediction: Eagles 31, Giants 13.
