New Look

Hi all,

I have been eerily silent on this site for a long time. It was a strange but great summer that found me separated from my wife of 8 years (together for 12 years), a lot of travel (LA, Edinburgh, Dublin, Vancouver, Whistler, Victoria), a triumphant return to the world of coaching baseball (the inaugural season of the Inter-County Ottawa Fat Cats), a new career and a move to Toronto.

This blog will have all the usual stuff plus observations on living back in Toronto, world travel, a return to single life and the like. Stay tuned.

RIP Sparky Anderson

I was sad today to hear of the passing of Sparky Anderson. I was fortunate enough to meet Sparky a couple of times and he was one of the nicest men I ever met.
