Well Done Raptors!

- A big thumbs up to the Toronto Raptors for winning their first division title and securing a top three spot in the playoffs. I realize their division is terrible but someone had to win it and the Raps did just that after a terrible 7-14 start. And getting a top three playoff spot means they will win a first round matchup which is far more than anyone could have expected at the start of the year. Now if GM Bryan Colangelo has ever even so much as watched a hockey game I think MLSE should allow him to run the Leafs as well. He can't be worse than John Ferguson Jr.

- Howard Stern has more listeners and a bigger contract but Don Imus is so much better at what he does and so much more intelligent than Stern you can't even compare the two of them. Stern will goad you into saying something stupid but Imus will make you say something career ending. But it's his comments about Rutger women's basketball team that have him in trouble. He made a stupid joke that he admits went to far but he has said far, far worse over the years. And don't even get me started on the fact that grandstanding arseholes Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are piping up about it.

- The Ottawa Senators have nobody to blame but themselves for the choking dogs label they have more than earned for themselves. I don't hate the Senators as an entity, I just hate this group of players. Every year they run up big scores during the regular season and tell everybody how great they are. Then the arrogant fools shit the bed in the playoffs as soon as they are challenged. That's why they are the most hated team in the league (except for the Leafs) by other players. This year will be no different when the Penguins take them out in the first round.

- Anybody trying to remake Sgt. Pepper , even as a tribute, is sacrilege.

- So little Avril has dropped over $9 million on a new home in Bel-Air. The sacrifice some people have to make to be near their ideal place of employment is pretty big, I mean, you know damn well she would rather be living in the ritzier section of Napanee which as we all know puts Bel-Air to shame.
