Another Lynx Game.

It was a perfect day for a ball game yesterday so Ms. Skeelo headed over to see the Lynx fall to the Paw Sox 4-0. One of the great things about your town having a Triple A team is getting to see the next wave of great players as well as proven big leaguers coming off injury working there way into shape. Such was the case yesterday as Jon Lester, 7-2 with Boston last year before he got testicular cancer, gave up one hit over 4 innings (he was on a pitch count) and looked like he will be back up with the Sox by the end of June. The bullpen didn't give up a hit so game moved along at a brisk 2hours and 10 minutes.

Another nice thing about going to the games is seeing guys from Toronto who played in the same amateur parks and teams as I did. Toronto boy and Sox catcher George Kottaras was 0-4 but caught a 1 hitter so that is a great game for a catcher.

Returning to seeing injured players work their way back, I would love nothing more than to see Roger Clemens have a Triple A start in Ottawa. I would just sit there and scream "HGH" at the top of my lungs for three hours. Unfortunately I don't think the schedule will accommodate my dream.
