Sticking With The Colts

- New England may end up being the best team in the NFL but like I said earlier in the season, I am sticking with Indy until New England beats them. The Colts killed Jacksonville last night and the Jags are far better than any team the Pats have played (sorry Cowboys fans). I think the Colts defense can slow down the Pats and I still think the Colts can score on the New England D.

- I think the Red Sox are better on paper than the Rockies but there is no way I think they should be a 2-1 favorite. This series will be a close one.

- As a Sports Illustrated subscriber for the past 20 years I am really not all that upset about Rick Reilly leaving to go to ESPN. He really hasn't written anything more than a one page column for years and those have become little more than human interest stories. Not that I don't like the columns but he's hardly the main reason people still read the magazine.

- Al Gore winning the Nobel Prize is going to be viewed 30 years from now the same way the guy who won the Nobel Prize in the 30's for finding the cure to cancer is now.

The Colts are better. They've won their last 11 games including a Superbowl and they didn't have to cheat their way to the top. Tom Brady is having a freakish year though. I'm looking forward to their matchup in two weeks. Both teams should be 8-0. I'll take the Colts and the points.

The Fucking Indians are a disgrace. Up 3-1 with your 1 and 2 starters yet to throw, and you give up 32 runs in 3 games. That has to go down as one of the all-time worst choke jobs. Sox in 5 with Dice K the only blemish on an otherwise great pitching performance by the Sox. He'll get lit up like the Las Vegas Strip in game 3.

The Pats aren't the only team that steals signals, they're the only ones that got caught.

The Indians meltdown was a disgrace. I can understand them losing three close games (though Game 7 was close through 7 innings) but not getting killed with CC and Fausto in Game 5 and 6. Really a disgrace.

I'll be in Denver while games 3 & 4 are going on but tickets are going for over a grand! Granted that only about $400 Canadian, but still.

Your prediction Skeelo?
