NFL Conference Championship Games.

Last week I was a pretty brutal 1-3. But the games tomorrow are pretty easy to pick. Ms. Skeelo's parents are in town so I gotta make this quick.

AFC Championship

San Diego Chargers (11-5) at New England Patriots (16-0) 3:00 p.m. CBS

The Chargers beat a Colts team last week that is now officially the Atlanta braves of the NFL. That loss was a complete disgrace and the Colts were positively horrible. Yet they still nearly beat the Chargers. The Chargers are completely mystifying to me though because from 1-52 on the roster they are easily the most talented team in the league. That's why they sucker people into thinking they could win this game. But they are really just a collection of headcases which is why I don't care if Philip Rivers and LT are 100% healthy in this game or not, they Chargers have absolutely zero chance of winning this game. It won't even be close. The Jags played almost perfect football last week and did everything you are supposed to do against the Pats and not for one second did you think the Pats were in danger of losing that game. That's why they are going 19-0. I hate their guts but it's pretty hard not to enjoy watching this kind of domination.

Patriots 42 Chargers 13

NFC Championship

New York Giants (10-6) at Green Bay Packers (13-3)

This is the bridesmaid game of the weekend. The winner gets the chance to get the shit beat out of them by the Pats in the Super Bowl. Having said that this should be a really tight game. The weather is going to be frigid but I don't think that really hurts the Giants because they can pound the ball and have a great defense. I think they are going to get to Favre with regularity which means Grant will need another big game but I think he will. I expect Eli Manning to play well because the Giants are not really asking him to do too much. I think this game comes down to Favre taking advantage of the Giants secondary once too often. And the fact that everyone in the world wants to see Favre beat the snot out of the Pats in the Super Bowl.

Packers 20 Giants 17.
