The Islanders Are At It Again.

I'm honestly starting to think that the owners of the Islanders are secretly running the team as a comedy reality series to air back in Asia. They can't really be as stupid as they appear. Now newly installed GM Garth Snow has decided signing underachieving goalie Rick DiPietro to a $60+million 15 year contract is a good idea. The guy is no good now, how bad will he be in his late 30's? Didn't they learn anything from the disastrous long term contract they gave Alexei Yashin? Good luck getting DiPietro to play hard every night. The coach will get on him and all he has to say is "I'm here for another 14 years. You're not." Brilliant contract Islanders. It may be the voice of Garth Snow but it's clearly the words of Mike Milbury.
