Sports Shorts.

Is it really surprising that Tour de France winner Floyd Landis flunked a drug test? Cycling is one of the dirtiest, if not the dirtiest, sports out there. Every rider cheats. The bigger surprise is how everybody still likes to imagine that Lance Armstrong didn't cheat too. When it comes to doping it's true what they say - The really good cheaters are way ahead of the chasers. The worst thing about Landis getting caught is that we are bound to hear about it from the ever pompous Dick Pound.

Reading about baseball cards will bring a smile to any guy's face. Any guy who tells you he doesn't remember tearing open a pack of cards looking for their favorite player as a kid is a liar.

What I remember is that the card that was on top on the bunch and had the stick of gum stuck to it would smell like that for seemingly forever.

Then, there was attaching cards with a clothespin to our spokes so we sounded like dirtbike riders on our BMXs.

I was also a fan of baseball sticker books.

The sticker books were great. I remember getting the hockey one every Christmas morning. Looking back it was my parents way to keep me occupied some of Christmas morning.
