The Blue Jays and my cable bill
A month and a half ago the Toronto Blue Jays went on a spending spree and added over $25 million to their payroll. They are owned by Ted Rogers. Yesterday I received a $5 increase on my cable bill. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Speaking of cable bills, I can't believe the cost for just simple regular cable. I just downgraded to basic no-frills cable, it's ridiculous that I'm being charged over $30 and extra access fees for simply 5-6 channels that I watch from that lineup. Seriously thinking of dumping Rogers and going for satellite. Or even better, get a hijacked DirecTV dish!
